Our long-term goal is to develop new innovative features and advanced functionality that are best practices and work flow oriented.
Our choice of receiver hardware was based not on how fast it could go, but rather how little it costs.

Recent technological advancements is RF receiver technology have made it possible to develop full feature digital receiver hardware with Software Defined Radio (SDR) functionality.

Our goal is not to necessarily replace the need for other professional level equipment resources, but rather to offer an important and sophisticated multi-disciplined, rapid deployment electronic search tool into the market place.

There never has and likely never will be a single equipment resource that can do it all in terms of detecting, identifying, locating, analyzing and managing the ever-changing and complex signal environment.

No – The Genesis ECM TM Software is specifically designed to work with the 4.4 GHz Signal Hound TM receiver.

Our software is not compatible with other manufacturers receivers or spectrum analyzers currently on the market.

The end user must purchase the SAMR receiver from the manufacturer directly at sales@signalhound.com or purchase the receiver and the Genesis ECM TM Software from Professional Development TSCM Group Inc., at pdturner@pdtg.ca

The Genesis ECM TM Software is not available from any other source or distributor including the SAMR manufacturer and must be purchased from www.pdtg.ca


No – Professional Development TSCM Group Inc., provides full technical support for the Genesis ECM TM Software only.

We do provide some limited technical support for the SAMR in relation to properly installing and operating the Genesis ECM TM Software.

However, for issues with the included SAMR software, firmware, or specific hardware problems that are not associated with the Genesis ECM TM Software, you will need to contact support@signalhound.com for technical support.


Our Technical Support provides unlimited e-mail support for authorized end users of the Genesis ECM TM Software.

We strongly recommend that end users submit the online Technical Support Request Form located on the password protected E-mail – Technical Support page.

All licensed users are provided access to the Technical Support website.

Optional telephone support is available for end users who have purchased an annual Telephone Support Package (TSP).

Yes – As long as you are using the same Signal Hound TM receiver for both computers.


We provide FREE bug fixes and security patches periodically as these become available for release.

We also provide FREE periodic updates within the same base software version that may add additional features and functionality.

We do not provide free updates for new software releases outside the current version, however, we do offer special pricing for authorized users of the current version of Genesis ECM TM Software.

Genesis ECM TM Software Training

The Genesis ECM TM Software Training program is a two (2) full day technical workshop at our Resident Training Centre (RTC) in Cornwall Ontario.

The Genesis ECM TM Software training is also included in the 14-Day Technical Security Specialist (TSS) Designate Certification Program.

Participants who successfully complete the Genesis ECM TM Signal Intelligence Support System (SISS), Professional Development TSCM Group Inc., operator certification training receive a Genesis ECM TM Software and SISS Equipment Training Operator Certificate (ETOC).
