CTSPA | Statement of Intent

Professional Development TSCM Group Inc., is the primary organizer of the Canadian Technical Security Professional Association (CTSPA) ^TM with the primary objective of fostering the development of common professional best trade-craft practice, the development of a working operational standard (TSB 2000 (Technical) Standard ^TM, industry adherence to strong ethical principles, certification and professional development training.

Membership is restricted to qualified individuals who meet and continue to meet the best practice professional standards as set out in the CTSPA bylaws and the Aims, Goals, and Objectives of the CTSPA ^TM, including strict Code of Ethics guidelines.

Active (Voting) membership is open to technical security related industry professionals from around the globe, and as such, Active (Voting) members are eligible to participate in a variety of professional development opportunities including the annual Canadian Technical Security Conference (CTSC) ^TM in successful operation since 2006.

Associate (Non-Voting) membership is available to those individuals that do not meet active (Voting) membership category, and includes equipment manufacturers and other interested parties accepted for membership.

Associate (Non-Voting) members do not have access to the CTSPA ^TM technical database information and need not meet the professional standards set out for Active (Voting) members.

This membership category is ideal for those looking to learn about the Technical Security (TSEC) industry.
